I figured I would put our story up as to how we found out that we were pregnant. I say "we" like David really has to go through all the torture! Haha!
We started trying for our baby in November. I had my doctors visit with Dr. Gibb's to make sure that I was healthy enough to be a mother because this was my objective from the beginning. He gave me the "go ahead" and David and I started trying. We tried for months with nothing. I was so upset and afraid that all of those years of being heavy made me infertile.
The weekend that I was very down in the dumps and pretty much lost all hope my family was supposed to have our new horse, Lady delivered. We were very excited, but it was also very bittersweet because we missed Penny so much. As most of you know, I'm not a very emotional person unless I get my feelings hurt. So when Lady arrived and I started balling I knew it was just a little strange. I mean you would've thought I was hurt! I was hysterical! I knew something was up because I was two days late and I've NEVER been one second late...EVER! So I decided I should take a test.
I was very scared of taking yet another test and it being negative. I took it and a very fine pink second line showed up. It was almost invisible as you can see in the picture. It was so light that I figured it was a figment of my imagination. At that point, I went to my friend Misty's house and we went to Walgreens and she bought me about every kind of pregnancy test Walgreens sold. I took all 3 that we bought and she made me go sit in the living room. She came around the corner after a few minutes and showed me one of the digital tests. It said, "YES"!!! I about fell off the couch!
I'm pretty sure that will be marked as one of the best days of my life! We are so very blessed to be able to be parents and can't wait until our little bundle of joy is here!!!
Oooo I got CHILLS reading this!!! It sounded SO familiar!! I remember EXACTLY how I felt seeing that almost invisible 2nd line!! SO surreal...then the next 100 tests all showing it too LMBO!! Never will forget it...
